The guest apartment at Quinta Do Moinho is like a cozy cabin in the woods, complete with a fireplace and a kitchen. It's the perfect retreat for someone looking to unwind and enjoy some alone time, just like me.
Personally, I found the three small beds in the apartment a bit cramped. But I understand that others might still find them comfortable enough for a good night's sleep.

It was filled with colorful toys and had plenty of space for our little one to crawl and explore. The older children had a blast at the outdoor pool, splashing around and making new friends with other kids staying at the hotel. It was such a joy to see them all having so much fun in a safe and family-friendly environment!
For dads it would be great if there were more sports facilities available for children, like a mini soccer field or a basketball court.

We had an overnight stay at Quinta Do Moinho Guest House and it was a rare find! The location right by the riverside was fabulous, and the charming house pets added to the rural charm. We were pleasantly surprised with an unexpected upgrade to a room with a large private balcony and a fully equipped kitchenette. The hosts, Silvia and Victor, were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The natural pool and the breathtaking view during breakfast made our stay even more memorable. Planning to return for a longer stay!
Would recommend this hotel.

We had the most relaxing stay at Quinta Do Moinho Turismo De Natureza. The apartment was spacious, with a great view of the river from our terrace. The surrounding area was beautiful, with a current-free lake and a pool to enjoy. The owners, Silvia and Victor, were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast was delicious and abundant. We even had the opportunity to row a boat on the river! it was a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend this hotel.
Our room had no windows on the floor of the bed, making it a bit dark and damp. However, there was a small window in the bathroom upstairs.

I was absolutely blown away by my stay at this hidden gem in the Sera da Estrela mountain range. From the moment we arrived, we received a warm and friendly welcome from our host who showed us around with genuine enthusiasm. The location is stunning, surrounded by beautiful and serene surroundings, including a small river running through the property. The natural pool was simply spectacular and provided the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The fact that there is a good restaurant within walking distance, with the option of being picked up after dinner, was a fantastic touch that allowed us to fully enjoy the local cuisine and indulge in some wonderful wine. Breakfast outside, overlooking the breathtaking view and listening to the soothing sound of the river, was a truly magical experience. I also have to mention the three adorable dogs that greeted us upon arrival, including Rocky the Portuguese mountain dog who was incredibly affectionate and welcoming. The hosts, Silvia and her husband, went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and ensure that our stay was memorable. The attention to detail and the personalized touches throughout our little two-level house were highly appreciated. I loved that the hosts truly cared about their guests and were always working to improve their property. The free water and coffee provided was a simple gesture that made us feel valued. And let's not forget the delicious homemade fig jam at breakfast - a delightful treat! this place exceeded all of our expectations and provided a peaceful and enchanting escape from the outside world. I cannot recommend it highly enough for anyone looking for a mind-blowingly amazing experience.

Personally, I found the presence of only 3 small beds in the apartment a bit limiting. However, I understand that for some guests, this may not be an issue at all.

The guest apartment at Quinta Do Moinho Turismo De Natureza was absolutely charming and cozy. It had a kitchen, living room with a fireplace, and a comfortable bedroom with three small beds. I loved the homely vibe it gave off.
I personally found the hydromassage shower and radio in the colorful private bathroom to be a bit unnecessary.
